Last Saturday, the grand finale of the German ESC preliminary round "Chefsache" took place – and Feuerschwanz were right in the middle of it as fan favorites! With their song "Knightclub", they fired up the crowd, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for the jury. Before the final public vote, the nine contestants were reduced to five – and Feuerschwanz were eliminated.
However, the band took it in stride and shared this message with their fans:
"Guys, it was a wild ride, but the gods had other plans. We're here backstage just saying: Thank you, thank you, everyone. Thanks for your support, it just wasn’t meant to be. But we’ll see each other again, that’s for sure!"

In the end, the Austrian duo Abor & Tynna won the competition with their song "Baller", making them the first act in 18 years to represent Germany at the ESC with a German-language song.
No ESC, But a Huge Year Ahead for Feuerschwanz!
Even though the ESC dream didn’t come true – 2025 is going to be massive! With their new album "Knightclub" and an exciting 2025 tour, Feuerschwanz have plenty of reasons to celebrate.
